Hello Robin, You mentioned that Jonathan Carpenter is your 3rd Great-grandfather in your message to Louis. Is there any chance that an Elizabeth Carpenter, my 3rd Great-grandmother, was in your Jonathan's line? Elizabeth was born in Orange County (we think) on November 15, 1812 and she married Robert Lamoreaux (Lamoureoux/Lamereux/Lamoreux/etc.). Their first five children were born in Bedford, Westchester County, NY (Henry, Hannah, Mary, Elisa, Isaac) and then they moved on to Indiana where two more children were born. Thanks, Susan Cary
