Eve Ann CARPENTER (1827-1888) married William MORRIS (1821-1885) in Bourbon Co., KY in 1843. Eve Ann CARPENTER had two brothers: George Daniel CARPENTER (1832-1881) and William H. CARPENTER (1828-1851). William H. CARPENTER was killed in Louisville after having served in the war with Mexico. His obituary states that he was orphaned at a young age, and partially raised by his uncle, George W. DUNLAP, ESQ. (perhaps either an attorney or a wealthy land owner) of Louisville, KY. In about 1845, Eve Ann (Carpenter) MORRIS and William MORRIS moved from KY to Henderson Co., IL. George Daniel CARPENTER also moved with this family. I'm requesting help finding the parents of this family. There is a possibility that William MORRIS's father was John, mother unknown. The parents of the CARPENTER children were probably Daniel CARPENTER and Esther DUNLAP (?). I don't have a clue as to any other information pertaining to George W.
