Yes, Tim , he is, but the line I have as a brick wall is his wife Theda Carpenter.? The Mains are documented back to the Plymouth colony and the Boston, Maine areas in the 1600's.? My George Washington was not born until c 1845.. I think he was born in England, according to my grandmother, but she sometimes got things mixed up.
