Hi everybody, I remember when I was small and at a relatives place for some reason one of the people there opened a book that looked big like an encyclopedia to a page that had a photograph and the name under it was 'Sir Joseph Carney' this person then told me that he was one of my ancestors. I haven't thought of it for a long time and decided to find out if it was fact or fiction. The only CARNEY's I found in my tree are James b. 7 January 1849 in Bathurst, New South Wales m.(12 July 1877 Nsw) SCOTT, Louisa Lucrezia b. 1 December 1856. They had 11 children one of which is my grandmother Mary Louisa m. REYNOLDS, Albert George in Forbes, New South Wales, Australia. Could anybody help me find the truth about this ancestor.?
