Lyn, I don't think that we are searching for the same person--but, I am looking for a John Valentine Carney, b. 1833 in Ohio, md. in IN to Susan Fix and later moved to Missouri. This John was supposed to be an "orphan". I can't find his parents. The interesting thing is the name VALENTINE.
