VALENTINE P.1 CARNEY was born Abt. 1809. He married MINERVA E. HART December 17, 1863 in Arkadelphia, Clark Co. AR, daughter of WILLIAM HART and NANCY PEEPLES. She was born 1833 in GA, and died 1883 in Clark Co. AR.. Minerva was first married to John F. Graham, who was b. 1828, probably died in Civil War, ca 1861. Minerva and John Graham had six children in Clark Co. AR: Mary Ann Graham William N. Graham John F. Graham James B. Graham Stuart Graham VALENTINE CARNEY and MINERVA HART had one child: ALVIN PRICE2 CARNEY, b. December 10, 1868, Clark Co. AR; d. September 21, 1951, Comanche Co. OK; m. MABLE CLARA JOHNSON, June 29, 1897, Delta Co. TX.; b. January 16, 1882, Pickens Co. AL.; d. August 05, 1951, Comanche Co. OK., daughter of HENRY BELL JOHNSON and MARY ANN DOTY/DOUGHTY.
