If my memory serves me correctly, the invitations my father got from the Carney Castle, (spelled Carney), showed a complete castle, not the small tower of what's left of the Kearney Castle. I do believe the invitations were for a Carney reunion week and I don't remember anything which led you to believe you would be staying in a Kearney Castle Hotel. (I'm probably wrong, as I was only about 16 at the time and I've slept since then.) I'll email this Kearney Castle Hotel and see if they ever mailed any such invitations or hosted a Carney Reunion Week. I'll let you know what I come up with.
