Charles CARNEY d. 17 Dec 1938 in Glasgow, Barren County KY at age 17. (Vol 58, Cert 28868, Death vol 38) 2. Memphis Avalanche, 26 July 1867: "Carney, Nick, was shot dead by barkeeper in Jack Hall's restaurant in Clarksville; Carney had been drinking and the barkeeper shot in self defense; during the war he was a member of one of the partisan bands who won a terrible name in the annals of guerrilla warfare."
