Here are some Carney names I have. There was an Avis Carney from Higbee, MO and Mr. & Mrs. George Carney from Carthage, MO who attended a COOK family reunion in Higbee Aug. 1940. Avis Carney could have been Avis COOK b.March 1882. I have no idea who Mr. & Mrs. George Carney are. If anyone knows of either of these families, please contact me. I can also send the article of the COOK reuion if anyone is interested. I think these CARNEY's may have come from KY to MO. I also ran across these names: CARNEY, Josiah married Sarah Power Aug. 19, 1789 Bertie County, NC CARNEY,Mary married Robert Andrews July 11, 1750 Orangeburg, SC If anyone can give me info on these I would appreciate it.
