Barb, How much information do you have about the will? Where is it from? Copies of wills are usually stored at the county courthouse where the will was filed. The county usually charges a fee, sometimes substantial, for a search for the will and the copies. I was trying to obtain a copy of a will from Ulster County, New York. The fee was $75.00 plus $1.00 per page. It turned out that my will and its probate proceedings were over 100 pages long! I was able to find a genealogist in the area (from Rootsweb) who found my will and did an abstract for me for a lot less. Karen in PA
