Hi Carol, My husbands family also came from Virginia ( West Virginia) They lived in and around Putman and Jackson Counties. His father was Carl Lee Carney 7 William Preston 6 Charles 5 Cyrus (Silas) 4 William (Billy) 3 Thomas 2 and John 1 At one time at least one of them lived in Penn. and Ohio for a while.
