Parents of Thomas were David Carney b. 1742 in Ulster, Ireland married 5 July 1783 in Mass. Mrs. Elizabeth Abbot. This is one of my brick walls. Can anyone help? Are you familiar with M. Elizabeth Carney married to Reynolds Laughlin? She was born March 10, 1810 in Armstrong County, Pa and died August 19, 1898 Jefferson Twp., Allegheny Co. Her and Reynolds were married January 08, 1829 I think in Armstrong Co. Don't know her parents name. Her mother or grandmother may have been Indian with the last name of Snow. Ellen, I am not very closely related. Lula is wife of 2d cousin twice removed. I have her husband's this way: Theodore, James A.,IV, James A. III, James A. II. My line is my mother backward: Violet Goodson Nicol, Ethel L. Strange, Mary S. McMillen, Sabrina Carney, James A. II. Sabrina and James A. III were siblings. I hope this is correct.
