My Carmody ancestors lived in NJ once they came to this country from Ireland. Living in Lambertville NJ in 1846. I have a Thomas Carmody b. 1807 d. 1862 - married Johanna Lucas b.1818 d. 1898. They had the following children. John b. 1841 d. 1906 married Jennie Cowan in 1866. Thomas b. 1844. married Mary O'Connell (this is not confirmed) Michael b. 1846 d. 1905 - married Bridget Gulick Patrick Carmody b. 1949 married Margaret Smith in 1876 James b. 1854 married Annie or Anna O'Brien in 1888 My husband is a descendant of Michael and Bridget. If anyone has information on this line I would appreciate there contacting me. I would like to find out where they came from in Ireland. Thanks, Judy
