John CARMODY, b abt 1819 and Hannah LOONEY, b 1834, married somewhere in Co. Kerry, Ireland abt 1855. Children born in Kerry were Edward {my grandfather} b 1856, Michael,1858, Hannah and John. The family came to the US abt 1868 to Itaska, Anoka Co., MN, then 3 years later settled on a farm in Blue Hill Township, Sherburne Co., MN. Children born in the US were Daniel, William; Margaret, Lizzie and Louisa. John died in 1918. William A. CARMODY, John's brother, b 1822 in Kerry, came to US in 1851. He met and married Mary SEXTON from Limerick in 1855 and settled on a farm in Sherburne Co., MN. Children were Elizabeth, b 1858, Ann, 1859, John, 1860, Hattie, 1863, Octavia, 1865, and Josephine. William died 1916. Who were their parents? Did they have siblings? What township or parish in Kerry did they come from? Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
