He died about 1845 in Ireland. She brought her children to the US and came to Carrollton, Illinois. Honora's parents were Martin O'Brien and Hanna (Honora ) McDonald. Her children were John O'Brien Carmody-died in Carrollton Ill in 1890. Another son was James J. We have no info on him but I assume he is the ancestor of some correspondent from Harrisonville Mo. Another son was Martin who was my great grandfather. A daughter was Bridget Carmody who married a Hammond. That's all I have except more info on John O'Brien Carmody and on Martin Carmody.
