The Carmody’s I am researching are from the Brady’s Bend, Pa. (Armstrong Co.) and were prominent in 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880. We believe they came from Ireland to NY and settled in Pa., and later some in Ohio. Trying to make a connection between the following Carmody’s in this area and others in Pa. and link them back to Ireland.
