Born May 21, 1865 in Ottumwa, Iowa. His parents were Thomas Carmody and Ellen Boland of the parish of Kilmurry and Capamore County Limerick, Ireland respectively. I find it quite interesting that your family heritage (and possibly my heritage) both have Carmody and Burke surnames. Do you know if we are related?
