Hi Fellow Listers, I am hoping to find some help on one of my Carmody's and Walsh's Winifred Carmody born in Northampton, Hampshire Co, Mass to Irish parents (names unknown) about 1850/1. She married Thomas Walsh of Ireland in Mass. There were at least 3 children that I know of: Winifred A. Walsh born 1887 in Williamsburg, Hampshire co, MA (my g grandmother) she died in Springfield, Hampden Co, Ma in 1919 of TB at the age of 32 She was survived by a sister Anna Lynch who lived in Cambridge, Ma and another sister Conde Bousquet who lived in Worcester, Ma. I may have found the family on the 1880 census but am unable to verify it: 1880 Williamsburg, Hampshire Co, Mass Walsh, Thomas 33 works in mill b. Ireland both parents b. in Ireland Winie 29, wife b. Mass both parents b. Ireland Mary J 7 dtr b. in Mass Arnet 5 dtr b. in Mass John 2 son b. in Mass Margaret 1/12 born May 1880 in Mass. He died about 1845 in Ireland. She brought her children to the US and came to Carrollton, Illinois. Honora's parents were Martin O'Brien and Hanna (Honora ) McDonald. Her children were John O'Brien Carmody-died in Carrollton Ill in 1890. Another son was James J. We have no info on him but I assume he is the ancestor of some correspondent from Harrisonville Mo. Another son was Martin who was my great grandfather. A daughter was Bridget Carmody who married a Hammond. That's all I have except more info on John O'Brien Carmody and on Martin Carmody.

Gravlin in 1905 in Worcester, Mass; Anna born unknown year/place married a Lynch and lived in Cambridge in 1919; and Conde born unknown year/place married a Bousquet and lived in Worcester in 1919. They had at least one son Martin (possibly John Martin or Martin John) who was born 10/15/1866. Kathryn and Patrick were both born in Ireland, as was Martin. Martin was naturalized in Allen County Ohio in 1887.
