John GRIFFITHS (my gggrandfather) was born in about 1796. In 1841 Census he was living with David LODWIG age 80 on the LODWIG farm, Wainifor, Llanarthney, Carmarthenshire. John GRIFFITHS and his wife Sarah THOMAS-GRIFFITHS who marry in 7 August 1835 live on the farm the rest of their lives. Their children; Elisabeth, David, Evan and John were born on the farm. In the 1861 Census, is the last time that John GRIFFITHS is listed in the census. In 1881 Census, Sarah THOMAS-GRIFFITHS age 71, is living with her grand daughter, Jane GRIFFITHS age 19. on the Wainifor Farm. Any help with this family or the farm will be greatly appreciated.
