Hello again Pauline - sorry for yet another email. Well I was looking to try and find some connection between my John W and a Sarah Thomas and found one on the family search IGI. It is a marriage between a John William and Sarah Thomas dated 24th September 1818 Now this is a connundrum - did some women not take their husband's name or did he leave her and she resorted back to her maiden name. Help Diana
