    3. Hi if you would like to read the article its in The South Wales Evening post . If you go to www.wrx.zen.co.uk/wales.htm and click the link for the south Wales evening post .one article on 27 Oct and the other on the 25th Oct. I personally haven't got anyone in this grave yard but thought it kneaded to be circulated to family researchers incase they have rellies ther. Like you I am horified that they can do this but it seems we can not acsses certain record unless someone has been dead either 75 or 100 years to maintain their privacy but it o.k.to build a house and school yard on them. What a funny world Althea ----- Original Message ----- Althea

    3. I totally agree with you Althea..if it's the churchyard I'm thinking of then Amy Williams, who has been in touch with me about the HARRIS family of Nantycaws and subsequently Swansea would be particularly interested in this piece of news! (I believe she is related to Elwyn in the Netherlands too!) 3. This is truly a sad state of affairs, which we only have our current government to thank whereby greed is more important, and profitable, than preserving our history and heritage. If we don't cherish and preserve our history and heritage, whathave we left? Or, sadly, maybe this is the big plan. I don't know. But I would think that if enough family historians and genealogists raised a stink and alarm, we might be able to aid the cause for preservation?
