Would like to share with listers, the success I have had in finding vital information in Obitruaries. They often can be found on microfish in libraries in town or city of death. Permit me to share a few excerpts on my kin and how they brought their Welshness to America.........Oak Hill Press(Ohio) James G, Morgan(d.1941)....."in his youth he enjoyed gathering around the organ in their little home and singing the old Welsh dear to the hearts of all Welsh Boys and Girls....He had a keen air for music." Mrs. James G. Morgan(d.1969)Her parents were early Welsh pioneers both of whom had been born in Wales. Her mother's people were from the northern part of Wales and in order to distinguish them from the other families they were called the Jones(North) Family."......Daniel Morgan Jones(d.1980)....."At the time he started school , he and his sister could only speak the Welsh Language spoken predominately in their home church and community....."American of strict Welsh heritage and very proud of his Celtic Forebearers".........."A man of his Welsh proudness through his later years of ups and downs.".....Wilkes Barre Record(Pa.).Morgan B..Williams(d,1903)......." he had a good singing voice and was a consistent member of the Welsh Presbyterian Church and when it was rebuilt he gave $5000. to its work."
