    3. Thanks for such a rapid response Pauline. I think it's Carmarthen Town, but not 100% sure. The 1851 census in New Quay says she was born in Carmarthen & was aged 39 (ie DOB 1812). Her age at death, 3 Nov 1853, is given as 44 (ie DOB 1809) acc to the NBI. A record on the IGI also suggests Carmarthen Town. I know from the IGI that there are other CHARLES family births in Llanelly, Carmarthen, do you have any list for that area? Thanks again Dick -----Original Message----- From: Pauline James [mailto:paulinejames@onvol.net] Sent: 23 October 2005 10:38 To: CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [Cmn-L] Sophia CHARLES Hi Dick I have looked in Carmarthen St Peters from 1808-1812 and cannot see a Sophia Charles.....there are sons to a John and Elizabeth Charles being baptised in Carmathen but no Sophia Do you mean Carmarthen Town or Carmarthenshire?
