Hi Pauline & all, Just to say I'm still here - but being a bit quiet as I seem to have developed aches and pains in my right arm - possibly from too much keyboard work!! So I am trying not to do too much at the moment - just short bursts. I don't want it to become a chronic condition - I did have a bit of a problem some years ago when I was working from home , and found a bit of "resting up" did the trick. So If I see a query I can answer easily I do - but otherwise I am rationing things to completing the indexing. Will be back chatting soon. Thanks Pat, yes, rest your arm and take it easy.....Perhaps the indexing is causing the problems......bad neck I get ..... It is Llanboidy 1841 you are doing, not many parishes to go now, its been wonderful..... We didn't think that both 1841 and 1851 would be finished so close together, being as 1851 took close to 5 years!!!1841 is only taking a couple of months......many hands make light work.. Thanks Pat, take it easy speak soon Pauline ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Powell" <pat@pcubed.demon.co.uk> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 02, 2005 2:00 PM Subject: [Cmn-L] Re quiet list > Hi Pauline & all, > > Just to say I'm still here - but being a bit quiet as I seem to have > developed aches and pains in my right arm - possibly from too much > keyboard work!! > > So I am trying not to do too much at the moment - just short bursts. > > I don't want it to become a chronic condition - I did have a bit of a > problem some years ago when I was working from home , and found a bit of > "resting up" did the trick. > > So If I see a query I can answer easily I do - but otherwise I am > rationing things to completing the indexing. > > > Will be back chatting soon. > > Pat > > > > In message <006a01c5c731$5c581ad0$6602a8c0@carmarthen>, Pauline James > <paulinejames@onvol.net> writes >>Hi Bernard >> >>Yes, you are correct, it is nowhere near as busy, I have tried a few times >>to 'wake' people up, but no-one seems to respond anymore......do not know >>why... >> >>Pauline > -- > Pat Powell > > > ==== CARMARTHENSHIRE Mailing List ==== > Wales Genealogy CD's for Wales research > http://www.Wales-Genealogy.co.uk >
Hello Pauline I understand the 1841 census will soon be available to search online. I need to look for my William POWELL, born around 1828, on the 1841 census for Wales to see where he was born and who his parents were. Any tips on where and how to search would be appreciated.
