Many thanks for that Pauline - I think that must be the one I am looking for. It's a very interesting entry!! Thomas, Drefelin is a brother of my mother's maternal g grandfather, whose roots primarily are in Glamorgan. Cwrt was the farm where my mother's paternal line is from, whose family is primarily from Cardiganshire. My mother's parents, who met in the Rhondda, were cousins without knowing it! Hi David.....you were lucky in that the vicar thought to add their addresses to the marriage entry......so looks like this is definately the one.....you can order the actual marriage entry from the record office in Camarthen......it will not show fathers names, but it will show you if they could sign the register and who the witnesses were.....if you want to send for it send to Archives@carmarthenshire.gov.uk Not expensive as the ones from the registry office, just a couple of pounds.
