Hello Dick According to "The History of the Methodists in Carmarthen" which I haave just indexed there were two well knowm brothers Thomas Charles and David Charles. In the section about Laugharne it states that they were born not far from that place. Could these be the Charles family you are referring to? I believe the timescale is about right. Hi Pat You mentioned indexing the history of Methodists. Is there any reference to Daniel or Samuel Howell? They might be associated with Jerusalem Church near Gwynfe or the Saron Chapel near Trecastle.
