    3. Hi Dick Perhaps they were non-conformists........the chapel registers are mainly from 1813-1837 as the chapels did not have to 'hand' in their registers by law except for these years.. Where in the IGI did it state Sophia Charles was baptised.......as the non-conformists are on the IGI and bishops transcripts not the welsh parish registers... Yes, Charles is a popular name in Llanelly and Pembrey area.........I myself have a connection with Charles's from Burry, Pembrey parish.......they were not connected to the Minister though.....     3. Thanks Pauline. Yes, Sophia CHARLES was certainly non-conformist, in line with the link to Thomas CHARLES. Her entry in the IGI is only her birth, marriage & death dates, there's no baptism record.
