Hi Pauline I have the name Daniel Thomas from a lady who's trying to find out about a Dr E M Prosser Thomas. I searched the Pigots Directory for 1830 looking for Thomas and found a Daniel Thomas who appeared to work at Prosser's Warehouse in Lammas Street. I also found Prosser & Son in the same street. My husband's grandfather Tom Prosser Thomas was shown as living in Tenby at the time of his marriage in 1915. His father was given as William Prosser Thomas, engineer. The closest I've come to a William Prosser Thomas, engineer is a son living with his father Thomas Thomas, tailor. William and one of his siblings is shown as engineers. This family were living in Green, St Mary's Pembroke. I've been unable to trace William beyond 1881 and Tom from before his marriage in Cornwall. I know there were members of Tom Prosser Thomas's family living in Ystalyfera, Glamorgan . When I saw Thomas and Prosser in Lammas Street it occurrred to me that perhaps the Prosser Thomas could have come about through marriage. It could equally be, I suppose one branch of the family dropping the 'Prosser'. This is proving more difficult than my great grandfather John Davies! Regards Anna
