Hi Pauline - the father John Phillip no 's' a coal miner as on the 1871 which I found which Ginette had got. John P was 48 and born Kidwelly. Living at Michaelston Avon Llandaff Glamorgan (I always thought that Michaelston was in Mons) George is 9 and born Michaelston Glamorgan. The mother is Hannah aged 49 also born Kidwelly. I am not sure it is the right family as the age is a bit out. ie born c 1852 rather than 1847 - 1850. There were no others. I didn't look in 1861 England. Diana
