Yes that is what I am trying to find out. There is a 58 year gap between murdered William Powell and the William Powell who migrated to Tasmania, and who was born in Wales in 1828. and now I have found out the murdered William only had two daughters. I need to find the second Williams parents but don't seem to have enough information. I know William Powell was born in Wales in 1828 and migrated to Tasmania somewhere between 1840-50 most likely in the late 40's or early 50's . He married Mary Ann Brown in 1853 but that was in Tasmania. Thank you very much for trying I do appreciate it and you have given me information I did not have. I started the search with family information believing the first William was the father of the second William but now I know that cannot be so.
