Hi Ginette I have looked in Kidwelly and Carmarthenshire1851 census for a George Phillips aged under 4 but cannot find one.....this is the only George Phillips with father John......what was the fathers occupation on the marriage cert....... Hi Pauline Many thanks for the info, everything helps as you start to think it's under your nose and you're too dense to see it! Johns occupation on the certificate was Labourer. I will email the Registrar and keep everything crossed!
