Re your first guess of Saundersfoot - apart from it being in Pembrokeshire I beleive the ironworks were only set up in 1847 so that is another bit of info agianst it being Saundersfoot. I may take a while to mull over the problem - but I'll get back to you even if it just to say I have failed.
