    3. Hello Pauline - and Eve I've received the scan - it's very blurry isn;t it? I will have a good look at it later this evening but here are my first thoughts. 1. I don't think it is Saundersfoot - it doesn't reslly look like that at all - was there any reason that Eve picked on Saundersfoot? amy family story for example? 2. I agree the first letter looks like L and ands with og or oy. e.g Llanddarog spelt Landarog or Landeloy (but that is in Pems) 3. As Eve said she knows where the family were from 1851 onwards then what did David have against his birthplace in other census? When and where did they get married? As Hannah was born about 1842 then David could be in the London area in 1841 - if we knew that it might help - as possibly his family were there as well. Without more information it is going to be difficult finding the right Thomas Jones for his father and therefore more about the family. If Eve has traced all the family from 1851 onwards were there ever any interesting visitors? Are the witnesses to the marriage a clue? That's all for now I'll have a good look at the census page this evening and see if I get a bright idea. 3. Thanks Pat.....Eve said that David died before the 1861 census......so no luck on that. Llandefeilog it looks to me but as you said it could be Llanddarog or Llangadog......gets worse!! But we do agree that it is not Saundersfoot..... thanks hope Eve can give a bit more information Pauline ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Powell" <pat@pcubed.demon.co.uk> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 02, 2005 5:40 PM Subject: Re: [Cmn-L] Re Saundersfoot > Hello Pauline - and Eve > > I've received the scan - it's very blurry isn;t it? > > I will have a good look at it later this evening but here are my first > thoughts. > > 1.
