    1. Thomas MORRIS (Llanelly)
    2. Hello list, From the census information I received (from the list), after my previous query regarding my Gr.Grandfather Thomas MORRIS. I applied to Llanelli Registrar Office and obtained his birth certificate. Llanelli Registrars are highly commended for their prompt service. I posted my application on the Wednesday morning and received my certificate on Saturday morning. Thomas MORRIS was born 10th May 1861, his parents were Joseph MORRIS & Mary THOMAS. On the 1861 census (7th April), Joseph & Mary were living "near Siloah Chapel"? Llanelly. On the birth certificate the address is "Seaside, Llanelly". Are these addresses the same place or in the same locality? On the birth certificate the occupation of Joseph is "Calcinerman at a Lead Works", would this be the same occupation as Lead Smelter, as given in the census? I would be very grateful for any information. Many thanks, Willie MORRIS N.E. England
