Hi Christopher, I dont suppose your Manning has any connections with London / Durham does it. I've got a Manning that I think started off in Convent Garden, then to Durham and I think finished up in Tasmania where his son married my grandmother (she came from durham originally) then they both came back to Thornaby on Tees. Let me know if the Convent Garden bit could be a connection and I will let you know more details regards Marie >From: "Christopher Challener" <christopher.challener@virgin.net> >Reply-To: CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com >To: CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [Cmn-L] Myddfai - Its Land and its people >Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2005 12:11:43 +0100 > >Well, its in my local library so I will make enquiries as they do sell off >books from time to time. >Christopher (6684) > >Still looking for: >CHALLENER - (Anywhere) >DAVIES (Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire) >SPROSTON (Mainly Cheshire) >TREMBLE (Co.
