    3. Hello Pauline - please may I have the following look ups - I may have found the mother of John W 1834. Swansea Road Llanelly 1e Joseph Williams 36 Ruth wife 23 Jane Williams mother 60 46 Stradley Hill 1i Pembrey3 Pembrey Thomas Samuel 33 Margaret Samuel 36 Jane Samuel David Dsey???what is this please I have the marriage of Margaret William to Thomas Samuel 8/11/1836 which looks likely and then I found them on the 1861 census in New Road with a mother in law Jane William aged 75 years. This one could tie up with the Swansea Road one. Living with different children. O just the first one is correct and she is dead by 1861. So hopefully I have found a brother of John W 1834 ie Joseph W born c 1824. I will keep a look out for her whilst transcribing the 1841 census. Thanks Diana - an exhausted grandmother after having eight children here for the day!!

    3. Hello Pauline - I have been clearing up the chaos this morning!!! thank you so much for the transcription - well well it looks as if I may have found John W's mother!! It would seem that the Jane W who married James D Thomas (witness on JW 1834 marriage) was named after the mother. I was so excited last night to have found her. But where on earth was she in 1841 - I suppose she could have been looking after someone having a baby or something. Don't worry about the Pembrey one - the Llanelly one looks right. At least now I can try to tie her up with one of the family in the 1841 census. thanks Diana
