Llanelli on the Dyfed Family History Society web site: http://www.dyfedfhs.org.uk Select 'Part 1' then Carmarthenshire / Churches and Chapels - scroll down to the entry for Capel Als - sorted in alpha order of name of town / village - in this case Llanelli. If you like, I'll search the book for references to the Hopkins family in the time period you mentioned and translate appropriate sections. I am traveling right now so it may be a week or so before I can get anything to you! My Joseph ancestors were married in Capel Als. Regards, Jim Joseph Monument, colorado, USA Hi List I have been subscribed for awhile but have had my searching on the back burner due to summer. I wonder if anyone knows if there is a web site for pictures in Llanelly of Al Capal(I think that is the correct spelling) My grandmother Elizabeth Coomey(nee Hopkins) and her family attended this church in the early 1900's and I have been told my great grandparents and one of her children are buried there. I just wondered if there is any info on this church on the web. Thank you for any help Sandie Searching: Coomey, Hopkins, Davies ==== CARMARTHENSHIRE Mailing List ==== Carmarthenshire & South Wales Information in Photographs & Information http://www.carmarthenshirefhs.co.uk -- This email has been verified as Virus free Virus Protection and more available at http://www.plus.net
I thought that we had the chapel pictures, but we only have every parish church picture on our web pages....also if you have interests in Llanelly the Llanelly Historical Society site belonging to CFHS is a wonderful source of local information, indexes, pictures of the old streets voters lists etc....... go to http://www.carmarthenshirefhs.co.uk Hope you find information.......Pauline ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tommy (Carms)" <carms@tommye.plus.com> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 12, 2005 10:06 AM Subject: ATB: [Cmn-L] Capel Als > Hi Sandie & List > > There is a picture of Capel Als.
