Pauline, Hi, Thanks again. Now one of his children is my grandfather who, by guesswork and elimination, was born in 1867. ( That I got from his marriage certificate) With all that info, I sent an email to Carmarthen Registrars yesterday,(as you suggested in this email today !) and I'm now awaiting a reply. So I'm going to leave things for now, ( like I did years ago). BTW, I had a good nights sleep thanks. What I have so far: My father b 1907 Llanelly, his father b 1867 Llanddausant, a Farmer, (wife Elizabeth Morgans) his father b 1846 Llanddausant, ( wife ?? wed c1866) his father b 1820 Llanddausant, a Farmer.
