Hi Pauline - sorry not to have realised my mind is spinning a bit as I am trying to go forward on too many fronts! Firstly can I say that I did not realise that on the Carmarthenshire Family History Society Members website that you had so much else - including the Glamorgan 1841 index and images - how brilliant. I have been having a ball. Back to Jonah Jones - on the family search IGI I have his birth in Llanfihangel as 1st February 1792 with his death 17th May 1857 (this cannot be correct because I have him widowed on the 1871 census with his daughter Margaret Griffiths living in St. Peter's Carmarthen). He married Mary Jenkins at Llanllwch parish church on 28th September 1818. So I wondered if you had any better details of him. thank you Diana
