Dear All, I have spent two days at Carmarthenshire Record office looking up Vipond,s and Thomas's, Cilycwm registers are VERY difficult to read!!!. I would like some advise please. I need to Find the marriage of William Thomas = Mary [ born abt 1789] William's first wife died April 23 1838 aged 44, William had remarried by the 1841 census. Free BDM gives me three possible William Thomas Marriages at Llandovery but five Mary's Surnames Nicholas, Davies, James, Evans, and Jones. Other than pay for five certs how can I track the right marriage? Llanfair ar y Bryn registers are not available after 1837. Can I go to the registrar's office and look at the registers? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, David Thomas
