HI Ron On the FreeBMD site press search and on the search page select marriage enter name of father then enter name of mother. Choose the date range you think they were married eg 1864 -1870. If you have some idea of the county they were married in select that county. This will produce the marriages for people who married with those names. One should be yours. However, remember that it is not complete. Details of what is completed are on the information page. Ancestry does not have the spouse facility but is good for births and deaths. Glen, Thanks for that. I'm going to give it a rest for tonight, been searching for this guy for 11 years. I've spent 8 hours today on the computer looking for him and S.W.M.B.O. is not a happy lady. But your emails have been much appriciated and those from others. I think my trouble is that I'm trying to find too many people at one time. I'm tracing the Morgans as well, but that's another story. I did find a Thomas Williams 1846 that was married in 1866. There was also an other couple on the same page, so I have a choice now of two ladies to pick from. The trouble is I don't know the mane of Thomas's wife. So it's now time for bed. Thanks again. Ron, how about getting a birth certificate for one of the children, you will know the mothers maiden name, their address and occupation of the father..... To me that seems the easiest way to find them...... Hope you had a good sleep It is always better to go to the registry office where the event was registered much easier that way......
