Hi, Can SKS help please? I am trying to locate a family on 1871 census but not sure where to look. I have 1871 census but not sure if I read somewhere that Llanswel used to be called Llandigat? The place I am trying to look up is Llansawel and Talley. Many thanks Helen
Hi Helen Have you seen the Llansawel site on Genuki.co.uk They have extracts from the book history of LLansawel at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/CMN/Llansawel/History.html This mentions the parish of Talley and its relation to the parish of Llansawel. These parishes are next to each other. See http://www.dyfedfhs.org.uk/maps/cmnmap.gif LLandingad is another parish. Glen Jenkins Swansea --- HMC001@aol.com wrote: > Hi, > > Can SKS help please?
