Hi All I need some ideas as to where David Jenkins (1810-1891) and his wife Elizabeth Jenkins (1812-C1887) may be buried. For most of their lives they lived in Conwil Elvet parish in a small farm call Manllwyd. The farm is located West of the "Railway Inn" at Clytiau Cochion which is North of LLanpumsaint. I wondered if anyone knows this area well and could help. I have looked in Conwil Elvet registers and Llanpumsaint but no luck which suggests that they were non-conformist. Their son Daniel was married in Gideon Chapel Mydrim. All suggestions welcomed Glen Jenkins Swansea ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo! Hi Glen Not to put you off but I had family from Conwil Elved Daniel and Dinah Davies and their respective family....I know exactly where Dinah (also nee Davies) died in a farm where her children were living when they got married named Cilmache Conwil Elved, but at the time of her death they lived in Penlanychawel Carmarthen Town but cannot find her burial details.....they christened their children in Bethel Calvinistic Methodist chapel Conwil Elved which I have looked around but cannot find a headstone for her (I have for Daniel's brother and family)......have never even found Daniel's death let alone a burial after years of searching.....If non-conformist and there is no headstone it is very difficult as these chapels records rarely survived if they had any in the first place... If you locate yours keep me posted just in case the ones mentioned above are there...... If you think yours were belonging to Bethel between 1813-1837 I have indexed the chapel baptisms......let me know Pauline ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alayne and Glen Jenkins" <jinxs104@yahoo.co.uk> To: <CARMARTHENSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2006 11:45 PM Subject: [Cmn-L] Jenkins Conwil Elvet > Hi All > > I need some ideas as to where David Jenkins > (1810-1891) and his wife Elizabeth Jenkins > (1812-C1887) may be buried.
