Hello , my name is Suzanne and I am researching my Fathers family In 1841 Mary Davis left aboard the "Emma Eugenia" from Woolwich London transported to Australia for 7 years for stealing , she arrived in 1842 . Mary had been tried and convicted at Glamorgan Quarter Sessions, Her family in Carmarthenshire were listed as Mother Elizabeth, brothers John and David and a sister Rachel. I am trying to find out where the family lived in Carmathenshire Facts I have -Mary was known and tried as Mary Evans Mary's father was Thomas Davis/ Davies, her mother Elizabeth On a legal document written in 1867 she lists her birthplace as " Lattigyne" in another it looks like "Lathgyne" (Parish) I would like to find out where she came from, can someone help me please, Mary was my GreatgreatGrandmother Suzanne suzyq4@bigpond.com
