Hi Pauline, I'm trying to trace my Lewis family. Rebecca Lewis was born in Loveston, Pembs around 1843. I think she was orphaned whilst young, because I've never found her on a census with her parents (her father was dead before she married according to the marriage cert). In 1861, she's living in Cardiff with her aunt & uncle Rees and Martha Lewis. I know it's dangerous to make assumptions; but I'm guessing Rees is her paternal uncle. He was born in Llandovery around 1821 according to the census info. I would be very grateful if you could have a look for any possible Lewis connections for me. Rebecca's father was John Lewis, I have no idea whether he might have been born in Llandovery.
