    3. Thnx again Pauline. I'm constantly impressed by the wonderful work you do for so many. Long may it continue. It seems as if Ray was sometimes spelled Rhay. Not too surprising for those times. Must figure our what Pal refers to. p.s. My Atlanta grand daughter has just arrived in Toronto for a one week visit. She has taken a break from her round - the - world trip. Being a southern gal she was not thrilled at last evening's temp. at the airport -- 15 C. Neither is she too enthused at the snow that fell overnight. She was, however, delighted to be in Malta a few months ago. Loved the people and the islands. Told her last night what the Maltese withstood in WW II. and the George Cross received. Wouldn't it have been fun if you could have met. V. 3. Hi Vaughan Glad that I can help....the Pal is a little area off the main Pembrey Road, Danlan Road actually, the area is still there, its a row of houses still standing.... Glad that your grand daughter enjoyed Malta, it is a small island full of history and lots of sunshine, yes I would have met up with her if I had known, if just to pass on 'hello' to you, yes Malta was the most bombed place per square inch in World War II, think they are still rebuilding!! How wonderful to be able to travel the world she is a very lucky person....... Lets hope we all have a wonderful 2009.......always indexing as you know, and without support we would not survive..... regards Pauline ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vaughan Lewis" <vaughanlewis@rogers.com> To: <carmarthenshire@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 08, 2008 5:14 PM Subject: Re: [CMN-L] The Lewis's of Pembrey. > Thnx again Pauline.
