Hi Alun I can see them in 1841 and 1851 census.....John and children born in Abernant and Anna born in Trelech.... I do not have the baptisms for Abernant sorry...... I looked for a marriage between John Williams and Anna.....I cannot find one in either Abernant or Trelech for an Anna only this one 1827 25th December Abernant parish church John Williams and Anne Davies maybe it said Anna Davies and it was mis-transcribed as Anne....worth asking in Carmarthen archives if they would check for you.....no other information is given on these early marriages, excepting names of witnesses.... Hello Pauline I noticed in your reply the name Trelech, I am searching for an elusive Margaret. I have a John Davies and Margaret as the parents of a Benjamin Davies. On the 1861 census Margaret gives her place of birth as Cilrhedyn, on the 1871 she gives it as Trelech. The Margaret's I found marrying were Davies, Lewis and Hopkins. Margaret Davies was the daughter of John Davies and Sarah Thomas Margaret was born 1834 which is the correct age. Do you perhaps have any information on Margaret.
