    3. Ken, Use Google Maps to search for "Lletty Nest, Llanllawddog". The large house to the south-east is Glangwili. According to Francis Jones in 'Historic Carmarthenshire Homes', the "predecessor of the mansion was a farm called Glangwili, which formed part of the estate of the Lloyds of Ystrad Corrwg, in 1653. In the latter half of the 17th century the Lloyds moved from Ystrad Corrwg to Glangwili where they built a new mansion. Successive generations until 1835, when John Lloyd Price pulled down most of the old house, and built a new mansion 'in the Tudor style, of considerable dimensions'. His eldest son resumed the old family name in 1870, and was known as Llewelyn Lloyd Lloyd, that surname being perpetrated by his descendants. Most of the mansion was largely altered in the early 20th century". The Coflein database has some details: http://www.coflein.gov.uk/en/site/266140/details/GLAN-GWILI,+GARDEN,+LLANLLAWDDOG/ Regards.
