Pauline, I "lost" these emails and just found them. All I have from the 1841 census is that they were *not* born in Carmarthenshire, but their children were. I can't find them in others. My cousin did some other research and has the following...As I mentioned before I found their marriage record, but would like it if anyone else has anything on the line (where they came from). John Edward Pugh, 1799 Wales married to Elizabeth Charles in 1825 in Llanelli Parish; I assume John's father was named Edward as in the 1841 census there is a Edward, age 70 living with them.
