    3. Help....PLEASE I have been searching for my branch of the Jones's and Chaplain's forever or so it seems. I have the following infomation and certificates but i cant seem to find a direction to go in. My endless searches have drawn blanks. I maybe searching in the places least likely. Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Walter JONES b 17 September 1777 Llandefeilog Carmarthen Wales. Married 27 June 1807 Llandefeilog Carmarthen Wales Tabitha CHAPLAIN b 24.November 1782. Llandefeilog Carmarthen Wales. Was a farmer at "Bryncoch" [Red Hill]. In Llandefeilog June 1807 Walter bought a marriage license no 45 in the Diocese of St David He made an oath that he was from the parish of Llandefeilog and was over 21 years of age. Tabitha Chaplan was listed as a spinster aged 22 also from Llandefeilog. They were married in the parish 27 June 1807 The license cost Walter 200 pounds. Tabitha could possibly be the daughter of Hendy or Henry Chaplain and Mary Brown. They left Wales in 1830 , to early for the census. Thanks very much Regards Karen I
